The ZEPETO app gives you access to a fun online digital world where you create and explore your digital avatar to make friends. This app brings together an open world platform and social media.
When you open the app, you’ll be prompted to upload a photo or take a selfie of yourself. The Zepeto app then recognizes the characteristic features of your face and creates an avatar in your picture.
In just a few seconds, you’ll have an adorable digital version of yourself, ready to socialize ZEPETO universe. Read on to know more about this app.
Persons under the age of 13 are denied access to the app. Users are then asked to create an account with either email or a mobile number to start playing. However, you can access most parts of ZEPETO without providing this information.
When you create your avatar for the first time, you don’t need to customize much. No clothes, no items, etc. But as you participate in challenges and meet new people, you can earn points and use them to buy clothes and decorate your room.
New avatars are created from scratch based on the user’s photo. They will be prompted to take a selfie or upload a photo of their face.
Players can also level up and unlock more items, clothing, and activities. And everything you do in this universe is designed to be as social as possible.
In-game items, including clothing for your character, can be purchased using ZEPETO’s currencies, coins, and ZEMs. Items created by other users are sold for ZEMs and when users sort items from low to high prices.
Exploring the Zepeto world
There is a “Join Now” button on users’ main screen that allows them to join a virtual chat group. This world or chat room connects with people all over the world but has a limited number of people who can join at the same time.
Players can then interact with the world and the people who are online. And they may have activities that they can complete as part of a quest or mission to earn coins.
When users join worlds, they are asked to join via audio and can communicate via microphone or text. In these worlds, users can take selfies and photos with other avatars, and they can tag others whether they know them or not.
Players can also join “Crews”. These are topic groups that might be for a specific fandom or interest. Instead of interacting as avatars in a virtual room, a Crew’s room is more like a chat room.
