The Pixel Launcher lets you experience Google’s Pixel phone first hand. The biggest feature of this launcher is the app drawer. Google has removed the app drawer. Instead, the user has to swipe up from the home screen to see the list of apps. The Google search bar is also gone.
The Pixel Launcher is the rebranded version of the Nexus Launcher. And instead of the search bar, you have a Google button at the top of the home screen that opens the search bar when tapped. With a fixed day and date widget to the left of the Google icon that cannot be removed.

There is also an option to block specific apps in suggestions. But it’s more or less getting closer Google now.
If you put a few apps in a folder, Pixel Launcher will immediately suggest a folder name. For example, combining Google Messages and WhatsApp results in the names Messages. The dock has been greatly improved in the latest 2020 update of Pixel Launcher and you will find that many things have improved.
There are 5 apps listed on the Pixel Launcher “Dock”. Now, if you remove one of these, Google will fill in the gap with an app it thinks you’ll want to use. A long press on the home screen takes you to the wallpaper selection and widget settings. So if you want to change widgets, go ahead.
