OneDrive

OneDrive is a cloud storage service from Microsoft for Android phones. OneDrive gives you a place to store photos, videos, documents, and other files in the cloud with automatic backup. You can access all data backed up to OneDrive from anywhere. Access data on any of your devices, regardless of the platform they’re running on. Even if you lose your phone, once uploaded to the OneDrive app, your data will remain safe.

Adding new files from your Android device to OneDrive is very easy. Just tap the upload button to get photos, videos and other files from your phone and click “Upload”. You can enable camera backup and select folders and the app will do the rest.

Using OneDrive on your phone

The OneDrive home screen shows all your files and folders. With your basic controls at the top of the app UI. You can use the navigation buttons below to jump from Files, Recent Files to Photos. Easily switch between tile and list mode, upload a file, create a new folder and refresh from the top bar. Tap an item to see more options like delete, share, download, and export. The Share button gives you a link to share anywhere and allows a friend to view the file directly from your OneDrive.

And if you want to send the files to someone directly, you have to use the export option. You can email the actual file or attach it to an Facebook Post. Standard storage is offered at 5GB per email with optional packages for more storage. You can also easily collaborate with your Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in OneDrive. Office file support includes auto-save and advanced collaboration features that let you work on files with others at the same time, right in the app.
