The goal for Crewmates in Among Us is to complete all your tasks, find the imposter and survive. The tasks are important because they are part of keeping the spaceship running. Now if you find a body, you can report it immediately and start a team meeting to identify the murderous impostor.

In Among Us after death you can still complete the tasks and hope you’re not next. If you’re the one who gets killed, you can still complete tasks as a ghost, but you won’t be able to talk to anyone. The gameplay for imposters is a bit different. They start off with fake quests to blend in with the locals.

If you’re playing impostor, you can even use these fake tasks to sabotage the ship. They also have an additional “Air Vent” ability, which allows you to move faster around the spaceship via the air vents. If someone notices you, they’ll know you’re a scammer. You can of course kill all the witnesses, and there is a cooldown timer between kills.
